Author and former police officer, Cynthia Tobias explains the differences of a strong-willed women with God, and one without Him.

Thank you for having Cynthia Tobias on your program. I have loved her work & learned so much from her through the years. Her book about how they learn helped me to stay calm while my son would stand on his head while learning to read, & he is a good reader today. My husband & I really enjoyed your podcast today.

I would definitely consider myself a strong-willed woman, and overall enjoyed the program. I have to say, though, that the guest didn't seem to fully understand that truly developed "strong will" results in gentleness and compassion-- using the force of will to come alongside and protect the weak/marginalized. I could definitely hear Julie trying to get that point on the table though, lol. ;) Though I am not one (because I agree that several personality threads can be strong willed), this conversation felt very Enneagram 8 to me-- the health patterns of which totally back up my earlier point. Great program overall, as always. :)
