Get to Know Dane

 

Hi, my name is Dane and I am looking forward to facilitating this book study. Authentic Intimacy has been a tool that God has used not only in my marriage but also in my personal life as I wrestled with my own brokenness that spans from sexual brokenness and a broken marriage to a broken identity. However, at the heart of all the brokenness and what was unearthed through them was a broken view of God, His love for me, and How He truly sees me. My wife and I were first exposed to AI while we were on a marriage cruise called Love Like You Mean It through Family Life. We were actually separated during this period but had already paid off the cruise so we decided to go. My wife attended one of the sessions that Juli spoke at and little did we know that that was the beginning of a hard healing journey. This book, like Juli’s other books, is another tool that God has used to continue to disciple me and renew my mind to sanctify me for His glory and my good.
