Beth lives in Chicago, Illinois, where she serves in the Conference Department at Moody Bible Institute. She holds a Master of Arts in Biblical Spiritual Formation and Discipleship, with an emphasis and thesis on Biblical sexuality. Recently married in May 2025, Beth enjoys meaningful conversations, reading, and thrifting. Beth can’t wait to continue the conversation of Biblical Sexuality with Authentic Intimacy this year in their online book studies and cohorts.

Get to Know Nitea

Hi everyone, my name is Nitea! I have been following Authentic Intimacy for about 3 years and it has been a huge blessing in my life. I have done a few OBS which have played a vital role in my healing journey. The groups have provided a safe place to learn and connect with other women who face the same difficulties and struggles that I face. Since AI has been so influential in my life I wanted to continue with them, and see God move, and help other women find new levels of freedom.

I loved seeing parts of my own story as I read through the book. The best part of the group was sharing insights with the other participants and also sharing supplementary information with each other via the Authentic Intimacy discussion boards on the website. My key takeaway of the book and group: God has the power to heal all brokenness no matter how severe. Keep chasing after him by staying in the Word.

This group was life-changing! The most valuable things: Just coming together with other women with hurts and pains and creating a safe space to share our pain, struggles, support, and healing journeys. I also love that if I miss a session I get a check-in and additional messages about prayer requests. The leaders have some big hearts! Understanding and comfort abound.
