Do you know that God’s heart is for both women and their unborn children, and don’t know where you fit in the pro-life/pro-choice divide? Juli’s guest offers a third option: “When Jesus was confronted with two conflicting ideas, He always pointed out that neither offered the complete picture and instead gave a third, Kingdom response.”

Let God be true and every man a liar...one of the most frustrating things is to listen to Christians skirt around this and many other hot topic issues in our culture. So, thank you for talking about it. The enemy is so subtle and as I listened to this interview, I both heard the voice of those who love the Father and want to honor Him, and the craftiness of the enemy who knows how to take a little truth and use it distructively. A third kingdom response, how brilliant. But what I heard was a third opinion. Jesus will always offer love, grace, power and comfort. Our Father is always working all things out for our good. But what He will not do is condone sin, whatever the circumstances are in a person's life. I listened to a lady share how hard is was being raised by her mother who was the victim of rape. She shared how God honored her faithful life to Him to remove the pain and live a blessed life. The choice most times to have an abortion is rooted in seeing life without God, allowing a temporary circustance to have the final say in the matter; similar to suicide. Dr. Juli's final scenario regarding those picketing an abortion clinic at the same time the young woman was going in for an abortion and then asking the question where would Jesus be? First, that question encourages the type of confusion the enemy thrives on in the hearts of God's children. Jesus always has and always will stand with the Father and although He did not condemn the woman caught in adultery, he told her to sin no more. JESUS WOULD NOT walk into an abortion clinic with a woman who believes her back is against the wall and support the choice to do what the Father says he hates, the shedding of innocent blood. Just like he would not walk into a hotel room with a man who feels his back is against the wall and the only way out is to commit adultery...just think about that! The scenarios are endless. And, although Paul was talking about Jewish laws when he said in Titus 3:9 to avoid unprofitable and useless arguments, we would do good to steer clear of such arguments about laws in our society. God must increase and we must decrease...God never gave Christians permission to exalt our feelings, social and political ideologies above His truth. Over a million babies are being aborted in this country each year and it is not because the church has been silent on this issue, it is not because it was legal in this country, it is not because women feel backed against a wall, it is not because the father left, the woman was raped etc. It's because we have a real enemy who is here to steal, kill and destroy...and will use every avenue to do so. We can break this down however we want to with whatever scenario we want to and wrap into whatever program we want to...God is clear on abortion, He is clear on how we are to love, and He is clear on sin. The only reason the waters get muddied is because we throw our dirt in and justify it based on our feelings and not His truth.

"My Body My Choice" REALLY? Perhaps it's education we need...What does God say to the Christian woman? 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 New International Version "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? YOU ARE NOT YOUR OWN; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." ! Cor 6:19-20
