WORKPLACE GIVING

Thousands of companies across the country match employee charitable contributions. Do you know if your employer matches charitable giving? If so, this is a valuable way to make your giving go twice as far. To find out if your employer matches gifts, check with your HR department to see if they will match your donation to Authentic Intimacy. STOCK DONATIONS

A gift of stock is another great way to give to Authentic Intimacy. You’ll receive the most tax benefit from a stock donation if you own the stock for more than a year, and the value has appreciated during your ownership. The IRS says the charitable deduction will be for full fair market value of your stock on the day of donation. DONOR-ADVISED FUNDS

A donor-advised fund (DAF) provides an immediate tax benefit to you and allows you to request donation grants for charities you love. If you have a DAF, consider making a grant or making Authentic Intimacy a beneficiary.
