Get to Know Jack

Hello, I’m Jack and Im married to my wife Deb! We enjoy the great outdoors, staying active, and chasing 9 grandchildren around. We’ve been married 44 years and have survived challenges to our marital intimacy. But God was gracious & remained faithful to get to a better place.

OBS groups have impacted our lives! The group gave us the foundation for what true physical intimacy is. It also gave us confidence to start a conversation with our local church members about true intimacy and sexuality. It gave us tools to put in place to continue to grow intimacy in our marriage. It gave us the ability to connect with others who are also on this journey and see how meaningful those connections could be.

I am excited to facilitate this new group because I have a desire to be used by God to draw others into deeper intimacy with Him. I look forward to meeting you and learning as we interact.

Jack is great! I’m inspired by the honesty and heart of him as a leader and the other men in the group. Each has a story that gives me hope instead of fear. This Online Book Study has been so life-giving for me. Learning about God’s perspective on sexuality and being seen and heard has been a gift.

Jack is compassionate and caring. He took time to connect weekly outside the study for 30-60m each, with 6 of us! I formed a relationship with him that I would like not to end. The best part was hearing the men’s stories of relational pain and brokenness (and getting to share my own). I could clearly hear parts of my story in some of their stories.
