Juli is a clinical psychologist and co-founder of Authentic Intimacy. A graduate of Wheaton College, she earned advanced degrees in psychology from Biola University and Florida Institute of Technology. Juli worked at Focus on the Family, is the author or co-author of twelve books and hosts the weekly Java with Juli podcast. Juli believes that every sexual issue is also a spiritual issue. Her passion is guiding people to the truth and love of Jesus Christ as they grapple with real-life sexual questions.

Ian Shire is our AI Leader Program Manager who is on the front lines of serving our leader community. Ian joined the ministry of Authentic Intimacy in 2023 with the role of training and supporting pastors and leaders to engage their ministries with a biblical approach to sexuality.
In his service as a pastor, Ian has overseen and developed several ministries including discipleship, care and marriage ministries. His passion to help others toward sexual wholeness is rooted in his own healing journey. Ian believes sexuality has more to do with the heart of God and the Gospel than anything else.
